
To be held at the University of Leeds, this three-day conference aims to bring together UK Arctic scientists of all natural science disciplines: atmosphere, biology, ecology, geology, marine and terrestrial cryosphere, modern climate and palaeo-climate, oceans; their various interactions; observations and modeling; and relevant engineering research and development.

There will be ample opportunities for networking, to explore overlaps in interest and logistics, with a view to facilitating future interdisciplinary collaborations in Arctic science, and to strengthening the UK Arctic science community.
The conference will comprise talks, posters and invited international guest speakers. The conference will run from the afternoon of Wednesday 14 September, all through Thursday 15 September, and close at lunchtime on Friday 16 September. There will be an icebreaker reception on the Wednesday evening, and posters with drinks on the Thursday afternoon. There will be a prize for the best student poster.
There is no fee for registration .
Since this conference is targeted specifically at UK Arctic scientists, we regret that we cannot accept requests for attendance from non-UK scientists. Attendance / participation by non-UK scientists is by invitation only.
There will be a joint session on the first afternoon between the main conference and the UK Sea Ice Group meeting, which takes place immediately prior to the UK Arctic Science Conference.
